Since we seem to be talking specifically a dragon and not a wyvern, I have to question the design choice of the claw, talon or whatever you would call the clawed appendage on the wings. As a writer of pseudo-realism I tend to always ask myself a number of question when designing something and one of them is: "Does it serve a purpose?" I personally fail to see a usable function for the claw, but then again, Alan Lee and John Howe have in the past argued about something very, very similar and Alan Lee's response was: "Shut up John, it looks cool" <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";P" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="454" title="Wink/Razz"/> So if a fantastic feeling is all you're going for, I don't see the harm.

I'd personally also say that the darker shades on the upper two segments of the inside of the dragon's closer wing makes it seem more like wet fabric than shadow; mostly because of the shape, I believe. I personally don't see anything that would cause the shadows, save for the bone-frame, and it doesn't explain the uppermost 'prongs' of the shadows.

Otherwise, I think this a solid piece of art.
